I feel like I've been neglecting this blog a bit....so sorry! Had a crazy few weeks, but things are starting to get back to normal. Thank you to those who tweeted, emailed and commented wishing me well. :)
It's Thursday which means it's time for my current favorite songs. I have to say, I am OBSESSED with the first three songs- seriously, I listen to them over and over again. They are great to bike and run to!!
Yesterday I tweeted that I was going to skip the gym yesterday. Well, one of my followers (hi Ren-Yi!) said the following " no no no! you should go. think of it as getting inspiration to write your next blog entries to inspire lazy bums like me! :D " This got me to thinking two things: 1) people actually do read my tweets/ blog and 2) I really inspire people?!
Yes, my goal is to inspire people on their weight loss/ fitness journey, but sometimes I don't think I do. Anyhow, I DID end up going to the gym, for a little bit. I had eaten SO terribly bad, that I would have literally had to be working out all night to burn it all. My total calorie intake yesterday: 2626. Yeah....normally I limit it to around 1480....Right from the start of the day I set myself up. I got donuts for my co-workers and I couldn't resist two of them this time. On top of that, I went to a fast food joint and splurged, big time. I felt a teeny bit guilty, but that faded and I just enjoyed how yummy it was. No more splurge days for me this week!
I'm planning on making this weekend a good one, at least workout wise. I just keep thinking 135, 135, 135. :)
